Our experienced instructors are committed to providing you with the skills and confidence you need to pass your Kentucky State Road Test and become a safe and responsible driver.

Driving Lessons

Our driving lessons are designed to teach you the skills required to pass your Kentucky State Road Test in a calm and confidence-building environment. In our classroom setting, students will review all the rules of the road, safety concerns, and common mistakes made by new drivers. Taking time to discuss these subjects in a classroom allows students to focus on the task at hand when they get behind the wheel.

We believe that taking time to familiarize students with their vehicle and teaching them the basics before putting them on the road is another step in building their confidence. By the time students in our program take to the open road, they have had ample time to familiarize themselves with the basics of driving and have a handle on the skills they will be expected to perform. This allows students to focus on being on the road for the first time, and the task of driving safely has become second nature to them.

Our driving lessons cover everything you need to know to pass your driver's exam, including:

• Left and right turns
• Turnabouts
• Parallel parking
• Expressway driving (on and off the ramp)
• Driving in heavy traffic

Our driving lessons come in one or two-hour sessions, and we can pick the student up anywhere needed to fit conveniently into your schedule. Classroom instruction is highly recommended and is an add-on to the on-the-road driving lessons. The classroom session may also qualify the driver for a reduction on the auto insurance.

Riding Lessons

At Kentucky Driving School, we also offer riding lessons to help you learn how to ride a motorcycle before you buy. Our instructors will teach you the basics of riding and help you build the confidence you need to ride safely. We believe that learning to ride before you buy is essential, and it can help you get a feel for riding before you make the investment.

Prime for Life

If you have received a DUI, our "Prime for Life" 20-hour DUI course can help you get back on the road. This course is designed to help you make better decisions and learn the skills you need to become a responsible driver. Call our Louisville office for more details.
