Our Story
SKIDCAR SYSTEM was founded by a family-owned company in Sweden, Cedergrens Mek, and was introduced to the US market in 1990. Since then, we have been the sole-source distributor for North America, providing our unique and versatile driver training programs to law enforcement, military, and private schools. Our flagstone product, the SKIDCAR SYSTEM, is an unparalleled training tool that simulates real-world scenarios, allowing drivers to develop their skills and confidence in a controlled and safe environment.
Meet Our Team
Our team at SKIDCAR SYSTEM INC is comprised of experienced professionals with a passion for driver training and safety. Meet our president, Dane Pitarresi, a seasoned motor racing veteran with a wealth of experience in driver instruction. Our vice president, Lisa Pitarresi, brings her expertise in accounting and operations to our organization. Steve Westerberg, one of our experienced instructors, oversees our instructor training program and special projects. Jamie Diaz, our corporate communications specialist, takes care of proposal documents, parts quotes, and other resources that keep our information flowing.

And our ATSS (Automated Traffic Scenario Simulator) enables training for real-world situations using a series of red and green lights to simulate oncoming cars or stopped traffic.
