At Stop N Go Driving Academy, we have been dedicated to teaching safe and responsible driving practices for nearly 30 years. Our experienced and highly trained instructors have a passion for helping drivers of all ages to develop the skills and knowledge needed to become confident and safe behind the wheel. Our mission is to provide exceptional driver education and training that exceeds the expectations of our students and their families.

Our Driving School

Stop N Go Driving Academy is a trusted and approved driving school, certified by the Department of Public Safety, Office of Motor Vehicles, and The Louisiana State Police. We are committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and excellence in our teaching methods, instructors, and vehicles. Our fleet of dual-controlled vehicles meets all requirements of the Department of Public Safety, ensuring a safe and controlled learning environment for our students.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are certified through the Department of Public Safety and are required to complete extensive training and background checks by the FBI. They are certified yearly and attend continuing education to ensure they are trained on how to handle any situation that should occur during training. Our instructors are also certified to handle any situation that may arise during training, such as accidental touching or overreaction from students.

Our Services

At Stop N Go Driving Academy, we offer a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of our students and their families. Our services include:

• Teen Driving Courses: Our 38-hour course is designed for 15, 16, and 17-year-olds who are seeking to obtain their learner's permit. The course includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training.
• Adult Driving Courses: Our 6-hour adult driving course is designed for adults who are seeking to obtain their driver's license. The course includes 6 hours of classroom instruction and is designed to accommodate busy schedules.
• Private Behind-the-Wheel Driving Lessons: We offer private driving lessons for students who need additional practice or who prefer one-on-one instruction.
• OMV Road Test: We offer OMV road test preparation and administration for students who have completed our driving courses.
